Champagne Yvelin Prat Millesime 2019
DKK 293,- 75 cl · incl. VAT
- Style
- Vintage 2019
- Region / terroirs
- Vert-Toulon, Couvignon, Chézy-sur-Marne.
- Winemaking
- 2019 was a surprising year: very small grapes after poor flowering, and an August heatwave that dried the grapes in the sun. Sugar levels rose quickly in the last weeks of August, and by waiting a few days the aromatic potential developed fast. This gave very aromatic juices with beautiful balance and acidity. Bottling took place during the first lockdown of 2020. Made only from the first juice. Alcoholic fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel tuns, malolactic fermentation and cold stabilisation. Aged on lees for 4 years. Dosage 9 g/L.
- Tasting
- The fine bubbles swirl to the surface in a light gold colour. The nose is open and elegant with citrus notes. The palate is complex and generous with aromas of brioche and elderflower; pretty peach notes complete the tasting, which ends with a nice length.
- Pairing
- A celebratory Champagne for important moments: buying your first house, a romantic dinner to mark your first year together, a family meal for your grandfather's 90th – or any moment that gives you wings and a big smile.
